The Regis Europe Story
Regis Corporation’s expansion into Europe began in 1990, with the acquisition of a U.K. hairdressing group, Glemby Europe Ltd.; followed by the acquisition of two French hair companies, Gérard Glémain and Jean Louis David. These
major acquisitions immediately made Regis Corporation the
largest owner and operator of hair, beauty and retail salons
in Europe.

The first Regis Europe stand-alone salon opens in Meadowhall

The first Trade Secret salon opens in Europe; also
acquires Essanelle, 80 salons located in department stores |
| 1996: |
Regis acquires 20 land-based Steiner salons and 72
salons formerly owned by Alan Paul Plc |
| 1999: |
Regis acquires 70 Supercuts salons |
| 2002: |
Regis acquires Vidal Sassoon salons and academies |
